Swami Tattwamayanandaji has beautifully summarized the essence of verses 8 to 11 of chapter 12 of the Bhagavad Gita by first describing the descending order as seen in the chapter and then giving the ascending order to help seekers with their spiritual practice. Maharaj’s explanation provides much clarity and helpful guidance, very grateful.🙏🏼

There's everything to appreciate about elevating and sanctifying about work, indeed every aspect of our lives, and surrendering and offering it to God, but isn't there still the proposition of right livelihood to consider? Should someone involved in bomb-making, check-forging, or presiding over a genocide offer these vocations to God? Aren't how we offer and what we offer part of the process of discrimination, refinement, and purification?

An excellent session by Swami. He has really energized the vendors society on past 3 years !

If learning and understanding is a constant activity through the ages, you would automatically get to a higher level of refining. Not everyone will be able to do that but it is a logical consequence of 'sifting through' wisdom and knowledge. An inate tendency to search for truth is one of the forces pushing that.

Swami Vivekananda jumped in the vacuum in the west, around the turn of the century. There was an elevated hausse in interest for the 'orient' and 'things spiritual'. The right incarnation at the right moment 🙂

Most wars were because of 'gods' and not 'God'. And hiding behind 'gods' were powers that were craving for rule and resource. The 'gods' were simply the perfect coatrack to hang the story that served as justification for massacring others.

Surely 'Vedanta' is not a terminology 'invented' by Swami Vivekananda? It was pre-existing yes? From 'vedic' times coming before?

I do not believe that Swami Vivekananda could not foresee the 'terrible'. He was well connected in the west through various organized institutions amongst which the theosophists. And those, in their turn, got their funds from world players who were in control of moving chess pieces on the globe.

Gautama the Buddha is now a world teacher, and through him, the teaching of the Upaniṣads in a humanistic form has taken root in every country in the world.

Please reduce the number of ads in the video. There is an ad in every 5 minutes. It would be grea if there are 3-4 ads albeit here it is around 20-30. It is very disturbing to listen

When Pot is made from Clay--- did the potness existed in clayness or not ? Then Pot is seen by us through clay. When you break the pot, you are saying Potness vanished and clay is resumed. Why cant we make another pot from the same clay? If you deny the existence of Pot after breaking the pot and resume to clay, then how can one make this Pot from the first clay? Paramartha Satha--- Is the ultimate reality _ that is Nirvisesa Brahman or attributeless Brahman- only " is"-------- This is like a seedless fruit. Empirical reality is same Brahman its is various empirical forms----- all these are within the domain of False ignorance---- "nothing assumed as something"-- Conceptual reality is within this Empirical reality - mistaking one thing for other--- Fake illusion. All these levels are ultimately within the Maya or avidya or illusion or superimposition or temporary reality or relative etc.-------- Ultimately needs to be eliminated to resume its Paramartha satha. Question to you- when Empirical and conceptual reality is existing, is paramartha satha is also existing or is it concealed? When you say " we, us, I or you" that is Jivahood is nothing but the result of the superimposition on this Paramartha sahta- Nirvisesa Brahman------ Vivekachudamani---- 192, 196, and 200 What is the content of the elimination of knowledge of this Empirical reality and conceptual reality-- Fake ignorance? Vivekachudamani states that Jiva is brahman knowledge will eliminate? is this real or unreal? All vedanta schools accepts removal of ignorance - But you are saying that there is only one Atma or brahman, same is imagining to be many and eliminating its own ignorance.
